Tariffs are designed to punish Canadians, Carney is an absolute fool for thinking he can fight Trump on this situation.......:(

The corrupt and tyrannical Liberals will stop at nothing to completely destroy the Canadian hunting/shooting sports industry. Soon this will be for the extremely wealthy. Check out the price of guns, ammo, reloading components now! She's about to get a heck of a lot worse.

China-Con-Carney is a NEW WORLD ORDER fool. He's a puppet for the elitists who actually pull the strings. He also cares about no one but himself. Lining his pockets with gold, all the while stealing and r@ping hard working Canadians. A guy who moves his business to the USA, to avoid taxes, and then says orange man bad is absolutely ludicrous. Carnage-Carney is a narcissist who will stop at nothing until Canada has been destroyed.

The tariffs will probably effect the cost of most things in Canada. Look what happened the last time. It was a complete sh!t show. Guns, ammo, reloading components, accessories skyrocketed, and when they magically removed the tariffs, the prices of these items stayed way higher than they should have been.....:(

Thank you to the Liberal @ss-holes who voted for this piece of crap. And thanks for the dopers who started this Liberal reign because Trudeau made pot legal.........:mad:

It's Trump and his cronies that is bent on destroying Canada. As much as I despise Liberal governments, we mus stand united and fight back against any who attack us. If you hate enough to stand by and poke at folks who are standing up to the bully -- move to the states.

Screw that noise. I'm not inconveniencing myself to defend the post national state. My purchases of American products and trips to the U.S., business and personal, continue unchanged.

Here's something people often forget about applying schoolyard concepts to the real world: there is no teacher to come stop the fight and even if there was there is a risk of death for any two parties that enter into mutual combat.

When you say attack "us" I'm fairly sure you mean liberal or liberalism and are trying to pawn that of as Canadian identity because "natural governing party" or some nonsense.

Standing with the liberal party means siding with a group of people that are attacking the firearms community, this is very Stockholm syndrome-esque behavior and appears to be one "bully" pitting the populace against someone they have labeled a "bully" and antagonized for over a decade.

There can never be unity with liars.

You can love your country and dislike the government.

As someone that fought for my country, actually was disabled because of it. Telling me because I dislike the government to move. Yeah nah mate, FU. Unlike you, I'm not on FB sharing TDS stuff, and finally only caring about Canada when it was destroyed for the last 12 years. Why not go on FB and shop at costco and ##### about stuff not made in Canada? Gonna flip cans upside down again?

The amount of years, I had to fight the government for things like health care for my service related injuries, or earned pension. Or fighting VAC that says NAH your injuries are not service related. When it documented that they were.

Many have no idea what actual fighting is.

Obviously Carney doesn't care about Canada as, most of his stuff is down in the states, while MSM say to boycott anything about the states.

Canada is where it is, because Canadians didn't care about supporting Canada, thus many moved to the states and also made it hard to operate. But all the sudden it we need to support Canada. Too late... Face down Elbows UP.

Even if there are no tarrifs on ammo you can bet that the price will go up regardless you know just because…
My recent order of ammo. That in May I bought 2 cases ( 149$ from 179$ ) was only 11$ extra to ship, that wasn't covered by the "free shipping"

Sept price was 189$ from 209$ and extra 48$ to ship. Same UPS, same location, same 2 cases of same weighted ammo.

So these 2 cases costed me extra 108$

Your barking up the wrong tree if you can't see through the facade that Carnage is destroying every aspect of life here rather than fighting for us like a competent leader should.

It's just IMHO, but between the bought and paid for by the Liberals, mainstream media, and the Liberal spin machine, a lot here are drinking the geopolitical Kool Aid.

Do some research on how much the proposed tariffs, from both sides, are really going to affect the economy.

There is a lot of politics being played here on both sides, with little or no concern for the plebes, and everything leads to keeping Carney in charge.

Canada needed a kick in the butt to pull its head out of the sand and build up everything from infrastructure to our military and police, etc.

All of which were created by both Liberal, Conservative, and NDP neglect, poor policies, or just plain heads up their butts, as well as putting their cronyism and party inbreeding before the good of the nation.

I don't like Trump, or a lot of what he's doing, but it only makes good sense for Canada to expand its options and play on them, so as not to fall for predatory outside influences.

The Liberals in Ontario, Quebec, and BC on the Federal level have chosen to politicise this fracas for their own benefit, and now the Provincial parties have climbed on board this unexpected gravy train. It's raking in a lot of donations, and ensuring wins on both levels.

I'm not saying this situation couldn't blow up into a disaster, both financially and politically, especially if it ensures strong, unbeatable Liberal/NDP governments across the nation, but there is a lot of potential to be had out of this situation, for the other parties if it's handled properly.

What's bothering me more than anything at this point is how slovenly and decrepit the opposition parties have become over the past ten years under Trudeau. They just can't pull it together, even when it's handed to them on a platter.

It's time for everyone to take off the blinders. This change in political strategies is coming about for a reason.

It's likely coming about for several reasons, but whether any of us like it or not, whining, sniveling, name calling, and making empty threats isn't going to make any more difference than a free-floating feather in a tornado.

If you can, prepare for the inevitable political/financial fallout, that is going to occur as this plays out.

For most, there is very little any of us can do but watch for the washouts and try to avoid them if we can.

Our politicians are running around playing the "don't blame me" game.'' They are very much to blame for what is happening at present.

It's their job to make sure such change is handled properly, and not put all their eggs into one basket. They all failed miserably. None of them are heroes, and they don't want you to see it for what it is.

Egotistical fools and pompous clowns, with little or no imagination, are running the show at most political levels in North America, and they are completely running blind at this point.

There's a very good chance some of it is orchestrated, but one certain thing is, several insiders are making outrageous profits out of this chaos.

QFT. I want to break Kanada up, so I'm certainly not interested in 'standing united' to fight Trump.

The east couldn't bother 'standing united' with Alberta at any point in our history, so I'm not interested in helping them out now that Trump is targeting eastern industries with his tariffs.
