Sig's come from the factory lubed with MIL-COMM. It's the real deal in synthetic lubricants. It's non-toxic to boot! You can get it from Plenty O Patches.
 
It's funny how these gun lube threads go.

I've seen much the same staunch religious like beliefs and faith on bicycle and motorcycle forums when it comes to chain cleaning and lubricating..... :d

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm as staunch and firm in MY way as you folk are in yours. The best part is that any attention at all with any product is better than simply ignoring the issues. So it makes for some seriously amusing threads with no real ultimate solutions....
 
Of all the the lubes I see used, I have not seen anyone using "Tuff glide" a buddy of mine uses it on his knifes and alot of people use it on blade forms for there guns, is there something wrong with it ?

What it comes down to is: use something slippery that keeps your gun slippery until you clean it again.

There aren't many of us here that will wear out a gun because it was shot without enough lube.
