Give your bore an overnight soak with household ammonia.
If the ammonia is blue in the morning, give it a second soak. Keep soaking and rinsing until the ammonia comes out clean.
Do not use a copper or bronze brush as the ammonia will dissolve it.
When done, rinse with hot water, dry, and use the oil of your choice to protect the metal from oxygen

Household ammonia is one the best copper solvent/bore cleaner there is.
Household ammonia will not eat, corrode, or damage steel. It will chemically dissolve any copper fouling.
It will also take any finish off of the wood

You can use an electrolysis method using a small DC power supply to do so

Cast bullets can be used for moose / deer but you are limited by distance 100-175 yds or so

NOE Bullet moulds has 314-202-RN and 316-202-RN bullet moulds made for the oversize 303
But it can be a bit expensive to buy and set up for 1 caliber to cast and load cast

if you could find some one that cast that bullet ....... and find some load data.

I am not sure of what the % is but I suspect 95%. I add 250 ml of household ammonia to 5 litres of water.
It is the stuff you use to strip wax and is marked "corrosive".

My Dad's 303 is most accurate with Federal Blue box 180s. Key holes with Remington factory ammo. Not as severe as yours. Try posting your problem in the milsurp forum as well to get all the Lee Enfield guys attention
