Ritchie said:I'm buying a S&W M&P, really can't decide on 9mm or .40S&W
I already have 2 9mm pistols with all the associated reloading eqpt. Bullet molds etc. 1000's of 9mm brass.
I'd like it for everything from plinking to target and steel poppers.
Should I stay with 9mm and enjoy all the equipment I already have or move up to 40S&W and bankrupt myself with more molds, dies, sizers etc?
I must add that I'd like to go progressive and the loadmaster can be bought with the .40S&W setup. Whereas if I go 9mm with the press, I'd get another set of 9mm dies that I don't need.
I'm kinda leaning to the .40 side........
Please help, I'm loosing sleep over this!!![]()
Go .40. Listen to your instincts. You didn't get into this to save a pile of cash and you already know 9mm so keep it fresh and be adventurous in your poverty. By the way this is a great thread. I didn't think there'd be this much controversy re 9mm vs .40. Having a .45 Kimber I was looking at a nice .40 in consideration of trying IPSC. I'm going to start another thread and ask advice on that application vs 9mm.
