Please help me decide

If you plan on just shooting from the bench go for a Savage. I’ve had CZ’s and although they are nice to look at and shoulder the ones I had were no match for my BTVS. I bought the first CZ in 455 and then another a few weeks after that because the first one was a bit of a dud, and the second one was just slightly better. Don’t get me wrong the 452 is an amazing little rifle but the 455 isn’t in my opinion worthy of the CZ badge the sad thing is that Savage is just as good out of the box as CZ; you just don’t get a pretty looking gun with the savage. But I’ve never cared about how the gun looks as long as it shoots. 3/4” groups at 100m all day long with my savage. That to me is what a good rifle should do.
I was really disappointed too because I did like the CZ since it was a perfect fit for Silhouette.
But as I’m sure you’ve already found out opinions about this subject are as varied as the day is long.
good luck with what ever you decide to purchase and happy shooting.

Got it out to the range and here are my results, not the best but please keep in mind I am a newbie and these are the best I have ever done.

This one maybe mislabeled could be 6 rounds, as it was my first set after dialing in.

Only issue I am having is the bolt is stiff as hell, and my scope won't keep zero which is a pain in the ass, it is a cheap Tasco 3x9 so I guess my next step is upgrading that.

Here is mine finally with a decent scope on her.

And the three I went up the hill to shoot the other day.
Just got them on the photobucket.
Painful for me to do........ :)

And a few targets.....
I somehow managed to forget my sled and shooting bags.

Spent shot casings, a couple of ear plugs, a 30-06 brass amoung a few other
things laying around up there.
I wish I had taken more photos of the rejected unfired 22 rim long rifle I pushed
into that stump and fired at.
That is fun..... :D
