Please Help Me Out!!

Why do you prescribe me what to do and what not to do on this web site? Are you the owner?

Crossbow is prohibited in Newfoundland? I would consider moving there. Crossbow is too weak to kill an animal, it only wounds, making the game suffer. It's inhuman hunting.

Seen too many one shot kills on deer and several on moose (Canada, Maine, Wyoming, Alaska) with a crossbow in competent hands (my hands) to believe that.
I've had to help track wounded animals shot with a rifle a couple of times.
Don't confuse weapon competence with weapon user competence.
A gun, bow or crossbow in the hands of the untrained and unskilled can result in wounded game escaping to suffer an agonizing death in the woods.

Done. Attended a recent Black Bear hunting seminar and the Wildlife Dept. reps seemed to think that there is some movement on this issue and we may see crossbows approved sooner rather than later! Keep up the pressure!
