These guys are great. Bought a S&W M&P9 from the exchange forum and the seller "forgot" to tell me about the tool marks in the rifling of the barrel. He ignored all of my requests for a refund. I waited for a Vancouver store to replace the barrel (lifetime warranty by S&W) for 6 months and then was told it couldn't be done. MDC got it done in about 2 weeks. I don't think they have a gunsmith working with them anymore, but still, EXCELLENT SERVICE, EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.

Welcome aboard, since your the distributor for SIG in Canada, I have a quote about the SIG 716, It's not "vetted" so pls take it at face value. If you feel like you can comment well no problem. If not that's fine as well, I'm not here to "put anyone on the spot" . It came up down south, and it's the only comment I've heard about the issue. Since I'm interested in the SIG 716 it has relevance for me. Thanks. Cheers.

I
looked at the Colt and briefly at the Sig. Working at a store/range, you get to see a lot of what can and does go wrong. I saw a dude's 716 where the carrier tilt was so bad he had huge gouges in the shelf of his lower receiver. That and the weight kept me away from the Sig.
