I have a Colt lightning .22 pump rifle that I am considering parting out.
It is complete except for the original forend wood. I won't part it out for 2 or 3 small parts. Colt pats.com list the dust cover and firing pin for 99$ each so these parts appear to have some value.............but is there any demand for them. Let me know if you know of anyone looking for parts.......and feel free to inquire about it. Thanks.....wTc

Too far gone to sell as-is complete?

Check the cartridge lifter out carefully. The two arms that lift and retract it, tend to blow off the bottom parts that they bear upon from the block. It's a case hardened part, and thin there. Makes them one of the parts that are often needed.

I could probably use some pieces, but I can see living without or making them from scratch, if that's the rate on the stuff.

Cheers

Trev: No, its not too far gone to sell as complete. Very solid rifle. The lifter appears to be fine but I haven't had it out. Both the front and rear sights are replacement and the tip of the buttstock toe is worn off on both the wood and butt plate.....otherwise the butt stock is real good. Has octagon barrel.
