Plug in 12ga. Mossberg

How do I get the plug out of the Mossberg ?
It is unlike the remington ?

if its a 500 you need to unscrew and remove the and shake the gun with magtube pointing down and the dowel will drop out abit then you can pull it out there are 2 o-rings that stop it from coming right out

removing plug

I did the same as above, but my plug wouldn't come out enough to grab, so I loaded a couple of shells into the mag with the barrel removed, and the follower pushed the plug right out.

I did just what you both told me to do and here I find out the guy that I bought the gun off of had the plug removed already.....
