Well, I read this post and was compelled to order one of these as well. I ordered it on Monday morning, February 12 and received it, shipped from Quebec to BC, Friday afternoon, February 16th. Count me impressed with the shipping speed!

The packaging was very secure, and required extensive stabbing and slicing from my Microtech Socom Elite to open. I guess I paid $15 for the packaging, since the shipping cost noted on the package was $9-something, and my charge was $25. That's about what I expected to pay, though, and as quickly as it got here I'm not gonna complain.
My P1 has fairly minimal finish wear, as I would expect from any time spent in a holster. There are a few small scratches on the plastic grips, and the finish is worn off just a handful of the sharp edges. The internal steel parts are all excellent. The aluminum frame shows finish wear on the typical contact surfaces (rails, magwell, feed ramp, trigger guard) that I would say is indicative of it having been used a fair amount, but not abused. I'd like to believe that a German
Polizeioffizier used this gun to take out some deserving criminal scumbags.
So far I'm really happy with this gun. It has alot of features not found on any of the other pistols I've owned to date. I haven't shot it yet, but I'm expecting I will remain much happier with it than I would be with a brand new Norinco of comparable value.
