Yeah, I'm always looking for new ones. I've sort of streamlined the ones I'm looking for.
The Switzer gun looks great, looks to have an original finish - great condition too. Its a first alphabet J-prefix. It's tough to say if it's all matching, but that's what you get in an auction. If those brown grips are authentic Bakelite, then they are pretty rare. Most first alphabet prefix guns have black grips with small screws and bushings. This one has brown grips with small screws an bushings. Once again, it's tough to say if they are current reproduction plastic or original Bakelite. I'd rate it at a solid 8/10, assuming it is all matching, the bore is as described, and if those grips are Bakelite.
I don't see it selling for less than $1000 so get ready. Good luck, and let us know if you get it.
If you are just looking for a shooter, they sell for less than $1000. But an all matching, complete gun will cost you at least $1000. An all matching refinished gun just sold for approx $850, and there was also a mismatched for a little less than that, if I'm not mistaken.
