Poll: knife carrying

Always be prepared, I also carry a lighter, a pen, hand sanitizer, cash and three silver one ounce rounds to help sterilize any cash I take in change, which is seldom since I get a variety of bills at the bank which I sterilize before carrying it.
 
Never carried one in my 45ish years. Thought I would never need one. And then one snowy late night driving up the highway I saw a van go into the ditch and roll. Poor lady was trapped upside down and I couldn't release the seat belt to help her get out. Cop showed and sliced it. I've carried a knife ever since that night
 
Every day for as long as I can remember. I used to carry a spyderco tenacious and an olfa for my previous job. Now I carry a case copperlock and a leatherman skeletool. Sometimes an izula gets some pocket time too. The leatherman is almost perfect.
 
Yes, always. Sun up to sundown every day. Fixed blade at work and folder on weekend. For work (agriculture) it’s a invaluable tool. Pry bar, screw driver, and of course cutting twine, boxes and packages. As for the weekend carry same story but less wear and stress on blade. Also less bulk for lounging. A knife to me is as valuable as clothing.
 
No. But I keep one in my truck, one in my bag, etc. Usually if I need one theres one somewhere close but I don't carry one around all the time because I dont find myself needing one very often.
