Balls, read it again! Love is blind.

I read your "post" just fine! I'm only going to say this once: keep your petty comments to yourself unless they relate to the thread! My signature is just that....my signature......your question has nothing (not even remotely) to do with this topic!! You seem to be quite the sh&* disturber.....and in case you haven't noticed a large percent of us are getting tired of it....you seem to be...uhmmmm oh....a troll!!
I hope you and your express will be very happy together, balls
and your signature sucks!!! balls

It's made by Leapers (yup, the same Leapers who make those not-so-good scopes), is constructed out of aluminium and comes with a black anodized finish. I purchased it online earlier in the summer ...although I can't recall exactly from where. Just Google 'shotgun tri-rail' and you'll find a retailer to purchase it from (it's a fairly common item and there's plenty of folks selling them). There's a 3-slot version (like the one I have) and a slightly longer 5-slot version ...they go for around $35 or so.w squared said:"...Hey...teclaydon...where did you get the 3 rail picatinnny mount on the mag extension of your 870?..."

The way that it's designed, you actually have several options on how to mount it:

...clamped to both the barrel and the mag extension, clamped to just one or the other or clamped to either one and also clamped to a flashlight. I chose to clamp mine just to the mag extension and didn't use the upper clamp at all:
I just wrap a single layer of bicycle innertube rubber around the section of mag extension that the mount is clamped to ...not only does it protect the finish, it prevents the mount from sliding once the clamp is tightened.michaelsabre said:"...What will happen after some slugs?

Where I work, I used to highly recommend the 870 express, thinking it was almost as good as the wingmaster. The express was my #1 suggestion when asked for guidance by a new shooter. I no longer do that and only sell an express when someone specifically asks for one. The reason is that there are too many complaints and too many come back for too many reasons. When asked what I think of the express, I tell my customer that the express is a copy of probably the most popular pump shotgun ever made, but they are not the same. I am reluctant to tell customers what I really think of them because where I work Remington is a large account . I still sell more express 870 gun than any other and I still hear and see more complaints than any other, but some really like their expresses and can not understand why would one pay more. $359.00 will get a gun that you can start with and decide later to upgrade if you want. If you use the express and get through your first season with lots of shooting the odds are that you may never have a problem and you have a good one. If you start having problems right at the start, the problems might continue and you might have a lemon. Hope you guys all get good ones.
I just bought one a few weeks ago and now kinda regret it; for a less than $200 more I could and should have got the bottom ejecting Browning BPS. As a lefty I was "sold" by the left handed Express offering. I wish Remington offered some of the better models a left handed version. I hate the finish on the Express; it's pretty gross.
but ya know beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes to the bone and no matter what you do it will always be an express. My best advice if you think your express is gross, is to cut your losses and buy something that pleases you. The BPS is a quality gun. Good luck
