M14doc is prepared to come to the Island and do a second M14 clinic in Port Alberni on Feb 4th/5th 2012. We need a few more people. Vancouver Island gun-nutz please check out his thread in the dealer site and sign on...or we will lose the opportunity. The first clinic was great...this one should be legendary...the clock is ticking on this!

I'll have one spot in the truck if anyone needs a ride up from Sooke, Victoria, or anywhere else along the way. You'll probably show up late smelling like cigarettes, but who hasn't had that happen to them before. I caught my ex one time giving her ex-bf a haircut while sipping wine because I came home early from work, so since then I decided it's just best to take the long route home (and start smoking).

See you all there!

I figured more Island guys would be jumping on this 2 day, M14 tune tweak and shoot event. I'll give it till wednesday next week for a better showing of interest and we'll call it a Go or No Go at that time.

Looks like another person signed up. Come on Island Nutz, let's make this happen. We still need more people. Don't let this pass you by. Learning and shooting how can you not come out:ar15:

Has the range been reserved or will we just take it over when we show up? If we need to take it over, we should all bring SKS rifles and crates of ammo, that works AWESOME.

I don't mean take it over by like, fighting people and smashing up their cars. I just mean show up and fire off a lot of rounds.

Alright, we've reached our minimum body count for this M14doctor clinic to go ahead on Feb 4th & 5th in Port Alberni, still room for a few more bodies, see the original post on the M14doc forum under "dealer networks" at the top of the main page.

I tried to get some brosefs from Powell River and Vancouver to come, but they all had to work. One of them even has an M305 in original box now for 4 years, hasn't even shot it. The other dude is trying to work 7 days a week to save up a down payment because his indonesian parents are moving here next year, and guess where they're staying. I tried telling him that owning guns will make his dad yell less, but he still wouldn't come to the clinic.

He kinda sucks at shooting 30cal anyway lol but he dominates with a shotgun.

Thomas has anyone ever brought the wrong gun to a clinic before? I almost brought my Savage Mark II last time, because I keep it in the nicest case I have.

I decided to bring my nice case last time so I didn't look like I was from powell river, and remembered just as I was loading it into my dad's car that I didn't swap guns.

If I get my ruger GSS in time I may bring it just to be a range commando

LOL
Matter of fact it has happened ;)
Some guys at the early clinics back in 2007/2008 did bring other toys along.
Bring whatever you like on range day ;)

I'm keeping the fingers crossed that winter does not throw us a curve here. This past week has been brutal cold, -45 a few nights and daytime highs of -29 - -32. Even with the block heater and blanket, my jeep froze up to the point it could not be driven. White out conditions from spences bridge to chilliwack also concern me.

I'll keep everyone posted as the date gets closer.

did i say i was in? if not just seen this about half hour ago. i'm in brother and just e mailed the gun club to let them know your coming. pacific Rim Firearms best club bar none! who shoots cars once a month, with a walk threw trail? youtube "death to a neon"

Yup, the gun range with the "fisherman's" trail down the side. I'll have to be sure I bring a rifle instead of my fishin pole on sunday as I hear the steelhead are runnin hot right now. :D
