Possible T81 New Issue

I don't buy cars,I drive pick up trucks.

I expect to recieve what I expect.....These are mass produced Chinese guns, and they are what I expect. I don't expect bent bumpers on a new vehicle and I don't expect mass produced Chinese firearms to have tight tolerances and exemplary QC.

I'm happy with mine, because it met my expectations.

Mr I drive trucks OH you mean your happy with your straight rifle wow your awesome what a hero what shining example whatever you guys that got good rifles you don't know what is like to be bent you don't know up there in your straight ivory towers without a care in the world

Thank you buddy for post my pic. I email TI, no response. Any suggestions? Maybe just go and bang to check if it works?

If the looks bug you enough to want to return it, then I would hold off on firing it. You don't want to void anything or give them reason to void it.

That won't affect firing. Now that I have one to look at here, that is only a cosmetic misalignment. If it bothers you, return it, but it won't affect function in any way. Mine is off similarly and I'm keeping it.

Turd

My rifle met my expectations. If yours doesn't meet your expectations, there is nothing I can do about that, so you will have to find your own solution.

PS- now and know are two different words, with different meanings.

After attempting to briefly skim your replies and losing interest because of the enormous size. I realized your a expert on everything. So good for you.

Still waiting for my 81 and won't give a yay or nay until they show up.

Post count +1, good for you.
So, you don't like when people use words to describe things?

I hope your rifle shows up soon, keep your yay or nay and reasons short though, don't want people to have to work too hard with all that reading. And definitely don't want anyone to think you're an expert using all those words.

Most of your posts have been too much whining about a slightly bent rifle that I don't think is as big of a deal as you're making it out to be but this post is gold, I had a good laugh this morning, thanks :)

Yes of course it is just as you say aaaanywayyy I have moved on from the type 81 I'm a M10x guy now

I would wait, those are not doing well in the US market, it's a small company with a CEO that's a douchebag, and now North Sylva is handling import. Not a good combination to throw $2000 at.
They look promising though if you don't mind a $2000 rifle from a nobody company that could go out of business any time. I'd wait till they are in the country, it's not like there will be a huge demand for a $2000 7.62×39 rifle so a pre-order isn't really needed unless you just like paying more for something. A little patience will pay off big on the M10x, a couple reviews and range reports from Canadian owners or at least handling one first will tell us if it's all M+M say it is.

So instead of applying some restraint and thinking for yourself you want/need the CGN admin/big brother to hold your hand?? It is not CGN's business to monitor or regulate business. If the time between pre sale and arrival is too much for you(which in this case was retarded long) then take your business elsewhere. However, based on a pole thread nearly 66% of people indicated they would continue to do business with TI even after this circus. Can't blame a vendor for taking your money if you're foolish enough to keep giving it to them.[/QUOTE]

You seem awfully cranky today Kidd X ? I have never pre ordered anything . I assume the use of "you" was not referring to me specifically. CGN does in fact control a great deal of what is said and posted by businesses and private individuals. There is a very extensive list of rules to follow. But of course you knew that. And yes, sadly I believe there is a time and place for big brother to step in and return sanity when sanity seems to be lost. It would prevent some of the unbelievable shytt shows that have taken place lately. Precedent has been set by disallowing certain business practices that are detrimental to the community. I view pre sales for non existent products in this category.

Vote with your dollars. If the shenanigans are out of control then move on. No need for big brother to hold your hand.

If the rifles are bent and non functional how are they a "bullet hose"? If you were after an AK looking reliable rifle then the 858 is the answer.

SPOT ON!!

Colletor grade was never advertised. There was mention by other members that the non bent functional guns would become collectible which is an absolute joke. Regardless of price a bent receiver(poorly welded trunion to be accurate) is not acceptable. It's not safe and it is not how the rifle was designed(we hope).

And about $800 more in your pocket as well!!

It takes all of 2 minutes to read his entire post, are you really that lazy? By your own admission you failed to read it completely yet you feel informed enough to make an ignorant comment.... Good job.

Hey Kidd X why are you even commenting on this thread you have interest in this rifle and all you do is comment on how much of a POS it is and how overpriced it is.....as you can see we all don't care if it was 399...999...or 1299.....We buy what we want...i own the CZ858 and VZ58 and have shot numerous AKs over the years....this is just another one for my collection......and am very happy with the product it's exactly what I was looking for......go whine and cry in the SKS thread and stop taking up so much of your own time worrying about the T81 you have no interest in this rifle we don't need to read your massive quotes and posts anymore it's all irrelevant....get out and shoot something

I’m cancelling F it ! Wtf nothing still
On behalf of your friends at TI:

"Thanks for crowdsourcing these rifles for us, we could not have made this much profit without risking any capital if it were not for ppl like you. Hang in there, it's almost Q1 2018. You understand, of course, we shipped your rifle to someone else back on the first week of November, but we got your back next shipment"

yeah well I'm sending my piece of s#*t back. I was a TI type 81 ball rider but have soured now and all you straight rifle guys that say oh just shoot your bent rifle be happy and your standards are to high well is it really so much to ask that I get a f#*king rifle that looks straight to the naked eye overall (not talkin about the furniture) for 1000$ is it really so high of standers Really guys REALLY!!!

This!!! I don't understand how this is such a difficult concept to understand.

And to whoever doesn't drive a car and drives a pickup truck, the question doesn't change, if you bought a new vehicle, especially one that was hyped up and you had to wait years to finally see how pissed would you be to find the frame isn't straight and that it might be potentially unsafe to drive?

For the "collectors" most of the people who really wanted this rifle preordered it, some of them were happy with what they got, others hate it, and the widespread nature of this bent rifle along with whatever other issue just like the t97 means anyone on the fence has long jumped off and is running for the hills, so the number of people that want this rifle is really small. Yes the supply is small, so is the demand, so sorry to burst your bubble but a collectible this ain't. Before you use the norc ak, that's because that's an actual ak, this is one of those rifles that just showed up, and then disappeared with no notable history. For all I know the Ugandan special forces or some other nobody nation might still be running them, don't waste your time pointing it out, nobody of note ran them, even the chinese dropped them in short order.

As for the vz, No they aren't worth the 2grand, but it is a demonstrator of relatively low supply and high demand that prices will go up, the vz is a fairly prolific rifle, not to the same level as an ak, but it has combat history even fairly recently. You want those prices to go down. Stop paying those prices to get one, that being said a kodiak vz858 or a csa would be a vastly superior buy to this even at its $1200.

I would have cancelled by now, unbelievable that rifles still haven't fully shipped.

TI is going to string you along until the next shipment gets here.
