So if everyone want to share picture of her thompson post in this thread.
thx

My ex-lend lease m1928a1, it originally came with a magazine pouch and five 20 round magazines but since then I've managed to get a 50 round drum and 30 round magazine as well (the drum almost cost as much as the gun :( )

The lend-lease Thompsons are a great option for collectors, it's one thing the Russians didn't mess around with.

Some of these SMG's are still in unissued/unfired condition, with original black phosphate finish.

Most of the Thompsons used in Allied service were rebuilt and re-parkerized many times, making the lend-lease examples more desirable for those looking for something that represents an example strait off the assembly line.

For the younger generation of collectors DEWAT is the only option. This is the sad truth in Canada, but at least it still looks great!

I'm going to :ang

Very nice Thompsons, guys!!

I did have the privilige of shooting the one TSE in Calgary has(had?). Even with the neutered mag and semi-auto only, it was fun!!

I can only marvel at the toughness of the men who carried this gun, 180 rnds of ammo (6 mags), plus all thier other field kit, through the mountains, seas, and jungles of WWII>
