Swift has a clays club?
bdft;[URL="tel:18152990" said:18152990[/URL]]The Bulkley Valley Rod and Gun Club just outside of Smithers BC, halfway between Prince George and Prince Rupert. 100 yd rifle range (150 if you push it) pistol and rimfire range, indoor pistol range and trap range with two traps. Heavily involved in the political side of hunting, fishing and shooting sports we promote it any time we can. We host a lot of shooting events for school kids and organizations of any kind. Anything to show that guns are fun, not scary. We used to routinely get people out to shoot AR15s to show how not scary they were. Used to do a lot of 3 gun but that has seriously slowed down and our annual PITA shoot was cancelled due to the dreaded Covid like all the other trap shoots in BC. Open 365 days a year unless rented for a private function. Yes we shoot in the snow.

I wish I could open up that link to check it out but I don't do facebook. Sounds like the club has quite a history. That would be something seeing shooting trophies and memorabilia in ones local club on display dating back to the year after WW1 ended! Are any of the names from founding members families still residing in the area today and are any of the club members related to those individuals of the past? Quite an interesting history write up on the website. Don't know how up to date this site is but I found the site after using my duckduckgo calling skills!

The Moncton Gun Club
3 Skeet Fields, 4 Trap Fields, 1 5-Stand
Located between Riverview and Hillsborough, NB
Founded officially in 1931, was around since 1910, some of the trophies in the case date back 1919.
Sure does! Well a trap club anyways with 4 fields. If they had a website I'd post you a link.....this is their contact info as listed on the ATA and SATA sites.....if you're an NHL fan head there this weekend for the Provincials and you may meet Tiger Williams( Maple Leafs Alumni) there. It's his home club if I recall and he shoots registered trap. I've run into him at several shoots, the first time was 2015 here in Lloydminster at a shoot. I am sure he will be there for the provincial shoot unless he has something more important than shooting on his agenda? I can't think of anything more important than shooting personally?!

Silver Willow, near Carstairs, Alberta aspires to be Canada's Premier Sporting Clays Facility. Since 2018, it has been members and guests, with exceptions for instruction, guided shooting and group or corporate activites. There are two sporting clays courses. The green course is 10 stations and is well suited to either recreational shooting or practicing process and mental game on less technical targets. The Blue course is challenging and with four traps on each of the 14 stations is suited to all levels of ability and used regularly for provincial and national competitions.
Included on the grounds are a skeet range - an international wobble trap - a pattern plate and facilities for meetings, competition presentations and training, including, but not limited to PAL and RPAL courses.
The Day and Co. store is well stocked with both mid range and high end shotguns as well as ammunition and accessories so varied as to make your head spin. Shotguns are available for rental or for 'try before you buy'.
Silver Willow is a family business and the concept of family extends to all members and guests.
