Post your MDT chassis

Not the XL versions but ....

Top is Rem 700 in 243 cal with CTR buttstock and 3/4 in cheekriser and extended buttpad

Bottom Rem 700 SPS Tactical 20 in barrel in 308 with Skeleton butt stock and fixed butt stock adapter

Again, not as XL but here's my LSS with a CTR stock and 3/4 inch riser. Barrel is a 20" (plus the break) chambered in 260.
It's my best attempt at a do it all rifle.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between a chassis and a stock?
A chassis would be described as a frame or skeleton that a system is built upon. Is that the basis of a rifle chassis?

For all of you MDT LSS owners, do you find the barrel channel too large for the sporter weight barrels? I am contemplating one for a Weatherby Vanguard 223 Blaze Series 2 but I don't know if it will look dumb with the sporter weight 24" barrel.

With a longer barrel I would look at the xl version. Short forend and long barrel looks funny to me

Picked up a LSS chassis, skeletal buttstock, and rubber grip for the new year but the fixed stock adapter got back ordered. Should ship today. Will do a review once I get it finished and tested.
It's for the MVP 5.56 so no XL available. Barrel doesn't look to long IMO... It is a bit heavier than I expected and my PCV Beowulf mags are a real tight fight for some reason. (They worked fine on the MVP LC I returned.)

Edit: Parts finally came in. Camo tape was a stocking stuffer gift so I put it on to cut down on safe scratches.

I'm looking at getting one of these for a 20" barrel rem tactical as well. Can't decide between the HS-3 and the LSS-XL. What are the differences as far as stock selection go?

I don't know exactly what the differences are between the two apart from the fact that they don't look the same (I'm a total newbie coming into this). I didn't like the LSS and LSS/XL because of the very low profile fore-end on them. Wasn't sure if the fore-end would flex when using a bi-pod. I was looking at the MDT TAC 21 also but I saw some mixed reviews on them due to the fact that the scope is mounted on the rail/chassis instead of the receiver. I also looked at other stocks but with those stocks you had to get bottom metal etc (my SPS came as a DM originally), the HS3 covered all those things at once, so I went for the HS3. I can say 1 thing for sure....I love my HS3!!!
