Powder at the new Barrie, Ont Cabelas

When I was at cabelas they made me take my pal out and my dl to verify the info provided.

Funny enough you don't need a PAL to purchase all the reloading materials necessary to reload ammo. But you do to purchase factory ammo....

had this happen to me as well.. ordered a "Special order, limited time" Remington 700 in 300 ultramag (rocky mountain edition), they called said it was in.. when I got there I found out that it went through the Montreal store, and they sold it there.. by the time I found out, you couldn't order it any more.. pissed!! never bought anything from them again.

I was very upset. His response, "You're lucky, I could have given you 0".

As an FYI, there was no black powder (for the muzzleloader crowd) at the Barrie Cabelas, but they did have some Triple 7 propellant.

I had to fill out the blue form in regina yesterday to buy primers at cabelas. No varget there, very little powder not many primers either.

Just wow, ain't customer service grand nowadays eh?
Sounds like he was doing you a huge favour selling you anything at all. Great way to keep people from coming back for more.
