Powder at the new Barrie, Ont Cabelas

I was lucky enough to be invited to one of the opening events at the new Cabelas in Barrie, Ont and found that they had powder in stock- picked up Varget, H-1000, and H-4831.
I saw they had H4895, CFE223 and a few others. The grand opening is this Thurs at 11 AM for those of you looking for powder: I think you can order it to be picked up in store as well.

And did you have to fill out the form to buy powder? Last time I bought they needed drivers license number, pal number, address, maybe even b-day. Never again.
 
Had to fill out a form with name/address, but no drivers licence or PAL.
Their regular price on the powder was $38/lb. The 8 lb jug of Varget was $250.

Some stores do it and some don't.

I take it that enforcement is pretty lax...

But if anyone has the luxury of comparison shopping for powder these days, they can't be using much.

I rode over 2 hours to buy some a few weeks back...
 
Lucky, or what ever you are, it doesn't change the fact that it is a legal requirement for a seller to record the sale of powder.

Stomping your feet because you are un aware of the actual law, does seem quite humours after all.

You can choose to shop where ever you want, for what ever reason you choose.... That's your choice.

It just seems pretty odd that with the current issues around getting any powder from anybody, you'd be happy that someone has any powder to sell you.
