I see things a little differently, I have no pension coming from work after I retire. Asides from the obvious benefits of being able to survive droughts in components I am stockpiling for future use when I'm on a limited fixed income and can't/won't pay what appear to be constantly escalating prices. I love a good deal & I'm not afraid to buy in bulk. Don't get me wrong ..... I make decent money, we're doing OK, the wife saves like a possessed squirrel LOL and I still have another 10 years to work. Thing is, when I do retire I'd like to be able to shoot/reload essentially for free for the rest of my life. Realistic?.......... Who knows but worth a try ....... seems the stuff aint gittin any cheeper! I figure what I stash today I won't have to buy tomorrow at twice the price. Heck 22LR was average $.03/shot 5 years ago and now its easily double that never mind shooting anything with some thump to it.
Does that make me a hoarder or is it, as I like to say .......... intelligent retirement planning?
