PPS-43c for $352.44

LOL

This is Canada!

Just like the 3 mags that were "supposed" to come with my Beretta 92a1, I would imagine the extra mags are sold off by the dealer for profit!

We do not engage in such practices. Whatever magazines come standard come standard.

Personally I think this looks good - I think the Canadian cost is justified - between a complete bolt redesign and having to go through the hassle of getting it accepted and then brought into Canada I'm surprised it isn't costing them more. I'm betting they aren't making much of a margin at that price to be frank, and if they are, whatever, they're a business offering a unique historically accurate and interesting gun that we can't otherwise have.

Yup. Our landed costs are much more than US retail. US market is also 10x+ larger than the Canadian market meaning large volume discounts and lessened transport costs per gun due to bulk shipments.

We considered not tackling the project at all because of the US prices being so low nobody would want to buy a Canadian PPS-43. We decided after 9-10 months or so to pursue the project anyways since we figured there might be some collectors out there interested in the PPS-43 being it does not exist in Canada as of yet.

Rather than havig a great long anteater barrel sticking out, I would prefer a restricted version with an operable stock.

Well it should be verified as a pistol so we can have 10 round mags. After that you can slap a stock on.

That could be problematic if it is designed and advertised as using PPS-43 magazines, the PPS-43 being an automatic longarm.
