the US export controls are part of ITAR. Canada has also signed ITAR which means, yes here in canada you CAN be arrested and jailed OR sent to the us for trial.....


Canada also has the CGD which is canadian law and enforced by RCMP which covers basically anything military

as for being bothered by us laws while if you plan on traveling EVER you should be as if you entered the US and your on thier list you will be arrested

it is also in the rules of this board to follow all laws......

Ppsh 50

Found this little oddity in the vault.

It is a Pietta PPSH /50 in .22 LR with a couple 50 round drums.
Italian made for Bingham sometime in the 70's I think.
Quite a lot of fun, however loading the magazines does make ones thumb sore.

how common are ppsh torched "kits" in Canada anyhow? i would imagine there all old stock and not as common as the stens

Not common at all. Breaking a 12(2 or 3) for the parts could be the easiest way. Don't recall there being any offered commercially.

that seems like a waste of a good gun. although the 12.x is a waste of every gun classed as such anyhow. there all headed to the rcmp in time. maybe this is the only way to rescue them?

a "special" class of licensing that grandfathers firearms owners to keep c/a , auto, short barrel ect. firearms. 12.1-12.6 i believe. you cant get grandfathered so if you wanted one of these firearms they must be dewatted before you take ownership.
