Just out of curiosity... do you guys know already what cardboard tartgets will be used for this match? 3GN? IDPA? IPSC?

Jay, I expect it will be IDPA targets for pistol and IPSC targets for rifle. Not sure if we are shooting slugs at paper, and what shape that paper would be.

Going through the match book, I noticed the 'no ghost loading' clause. It's probably for the best.

Don't wear your Multicam hat, it's a long drive to get skidded at registration.

edit: Found it. Best Western East has the group rate. $135 a night for 3 nights.

I noticed that too. Not sure the reasoning behind it, but, their match - their rules. Like Jay said, just gonna have to remember not to do it. lol

Sorry I missed the post on targets.. USPSA Metric (propane bottles) for handgun (looking into getting some mini's), IPSC Classic (turtles) and minis for rifle.. And expect hard cover.. no spray and pray.. well, I guess you can, but good luck..

I've had a couple of people ask about shooting the Prairie Fire staff match cause they can't make the weekend.. by all means! Just sign up and squad for the staff match

Peter, can you post the expected itinerary for someone that wants to shoot in the staff match?

Staff match starts at 9:00 Thursday Aug 24th.. We'll shoot as many stages as we can (within reason).. and finish up Friday.. We have two squads available, but can add more if required..
