Precision/Sniper/Tactical

Not a new gun, but with the new scope and everything cerakoted graphite black. Having a 6.5 barrel chambered in 260rem or 260ai (haven't decided yet) this winter to make this a switch barrel gun (and will hopefully lead to some longer shots/more hits!)

Up Northwest of Kingston, don't have an exact marker as of where, but on the lines.

We had two targets at 940m and 1140m with room to extend another couple hundred meters if needed. The 175gr SMK barely made a sound on steel at 1140m and was well past the trans-sonic zone, so something that stays super past 1140 is what I'm chasing. The 260ai with us had no issues, and about 5 less mils of elevation.

ATRS Infidel Single Shot Action
Bartlein HP profile barrel (1 in 8.5" twist) finished at 28"
McMillan A5 Stock
X-TREME Shooting Products Mod 22 2 stage trigger
Chambered in 6.5x47

Target is best 5 shot group when I was "breaking in" the barrel. Shot at 100 yards with Lapua 123 gr Scenar and Varget

Thanx and good luck.

Added another to the stable a couple weeks ago. Traded for it from a fantastic CGN member.

I've wanted a TRG for years. Now that I finally have one I can say with absolute certainty the wait was worth it.
It's a bit older but in excellent condition. You don't see to many with stainless barrels from the factory.

Nicest trigger I have ever used and I love the infinite ways in which to adjust.

It also came with a KRG W3 folding butt stock. Still deciding which I prefer more. The grip on the Sako butt stock feels more comfortable and is lighter weight, but the W3 folding option is nice plus cheek and butt plate adjustments are tool-less. Have to shoot it a bit more with both to decide.
Either way, this beautiful rifle will be consuming most of my spare time next summer. I think I may find a few more in my collection to sell off to fund a -42 in 300wm for the perfect pair :)

Finally got the 700P .308 out to the range and I wasn't disappointed. Bought off the EE with 40 rds down the pipe and a Timney 510 installed. Swapped the Burris XTB bases, NF 34mm rings and Bushnell DMR from the Howa to the Rem. Got to try out the TAB small rear bag too, I think it's a keeper.

My Norinco M305 .308 semi-auto ... soon to be scoped! I guess these may be considered LR/Precision/sniper rifles amonst my fellow CGNer's ... mind you I've only been shooting within 100-150 yards with them ... mainly hunting tuktu which you can get real close to ... well my Remington has done all the hunting ... the other two are soon to be animal killers ...
