Apologies for perhaps being clueless, but could we haz specs and what they are? Think I've found a new goal, but need more info to break it down. And then have to find a place to shoot in ON for this type of thing. Excellent camera work, you've got a good eye for lighting etc. Very very nice!

Just joined the precision rifle club, but me being a complete noob to bolt action rifles, it will be years before I join the precision shooter club :) Wifey bought me this for Christmas/birthday:

Special thanks to Hermes from Reliable Gun for helping me find some glass within my budget. For this rig and my M14 :)

I know it's nothing compared to the rest of you guys, but it will be a LONG time before I learn how to shoot this thing properly, let alone outgrow it and require some of the more professional set ups I've seen in this thread.

I like going back in this thread and seeing posts like this from a year ago, knowing that you just got a cadex chassis...Glad to see you are progressing quicker then you expected!

I think im gunna be the only cheap ass with a done up axis once mdt releases the lss chassis for it. Just like my sks all over again LOL! $400 stock on a $200 gun :)

Don't feel bad, your not nearly as bad as the guys putting $3000 cadex on a $600 sps Remington lmao. Jk

Ah, my 700P, that's a rifle that doesn't see as much action as it deserves. My Cadex 700 was built from scratch from the previous owner, but I still have the Remington 700p. It was a birthday present from the wife and my first bolt action rifle, so it's kind of hard for me to part with. In regards to progress, I’ve only had these rifles out to 300m, but I’m pretty happy with both of them so far. I’m not going to tell you that they shoot sub MOA all day at 300m because I’ve never taken any target sheets out. What I can tell you is that they are a blast to shoot at a steel gong from 300m, and are capable of picking off small jars of peanut butter(no bigger than a standard coffee mug), spray paint and Gillette shaving foam from 300m with little difficulty......so minute-of-peanut butter jar? Maybe I’ll do a proper range report one of these days, but I’m having too much fun doing stupid things with them right now.

Apologies, and thanks for the compliments on the photography, but the camera did all the work I'm afraid. Just a simple Olympus E-PL3 set in auto mode, haha!

Anyway, here are the details for the Cadex 700:

Action: Stainless steel Remington 700 s/a, ATRS bolt knob
Barrel: 20in Bartlein, M24 profile, 5R rifling, 1-8 twist, ATRS Gill Brake, ATRS Enhanced Recoil Lug
Trigger: Timney
Chassis: Cadex Defence Strike Dual
Glass: Leupold Mark 4 8.5-25x50mm LR/T M5 Illuminated TMR, Leupold Super High rings, Vortex bubble leveller, Leupold flip caps
Bipod: Champion 6-9 pivot bipod

ATRS trued the action, all the work to get the barrel mounted, Cerakote the barrel and action and assemble it all together.

The XLR 10TR:

Action: Savage 10TR
Barrel: Savage 10TR 24in, 5 R rifling, 1-10 twist, GRG Competition Muzzle Brake
Trigger: Savage Accutrigger
Chassis: XLR Industries Carbon Chassis
Glass: Millet LRS 6.5-25x56mm Illuminated Mil-dot/hash, Millett Tactical rings, Weaver Extended Multislot 20MOA, Vortex bubble leveller, Butler Creek flip caps

Don't laugh, hah, the Millett works just fine and places rounds exactly where Strelok tells me to. I did order a Busnell HDMR, but I've had such good luck with this Millett that I don't want to jinx anything and am almost hesitant to take it off. Anyway, I'll try out the HDMR and from the reviews I've read, I will probably like it. It will sit in an ADM AD-RECON-SL mount. I just hope it clears the 50mm objective with the 20MOA rail, haha!

Nice toy Arrowhead! You have good taste.

Got mine a couple months ago. I really like the entire design of the action. I will likely buy another badger before anything else.
How do you like yours?
