Probably wouldn't be hard for my buddy to make something like that. We've been using these with .308s for the last few years and have never had issues, guess .50 is a whole new ballgame, lol!

Looks like you guys are having a blast. I might drop by Merritt this summer and check out their range. Now where did you guys shoot so I can drop by there to ... hahaha

Yeah, the 50 knocked it off at 100m, 500m, and 750m. There was definitely space to shoot out to 1km and even 2km, but we were running out of light and it was a long friggin drive back. Next time we'll go back with a target that we don't need to reset after every shot, lol!

Yeah, I heard that Merritt has a range somewhere. I've only stopped in Merritt on the way to Kelowna for gas and coffee in the past, but all along the highway leading in and out of Merritt there are rolling hills about a million forest service roads leading to these kinds of places. I don't know the exact spot we were at because someone else was driving, but Merritt and the surrounding area is full of these kinds of places.

The only drawback for those of us living in the GRVD is it's a bit of a drive, and I can see these kinds of places full of campers when the weather gets better.
