really? for minor? you would be the first person I have heard use them on purpose.I do. Specifically for increased slide speed.....
Nope. STI Eagle 5.0.
I've only tryed 115,they shoot about six inchs high.was for the OP
115 shooting 6" high?I've only tryed 115,they shoot about six inchs high.
I'm gonna see if I can get a box of 124,but choices are limited around here.
I don't think the heavier bullits will drop that much ,anyway.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with adjustable sights.
115 shooting 6" high?
Given this, and your other thread, you may want to try getting some proper instruction. Yes, there could be something strange with your gun, but I'd really see about instruction. At the very least, get a highly skilled shooter to shoot your gun and see what happens.
This is my third CZ shadow. My other two were quite accurate,Thats why I got another one.
The other two shot POA/POI.
I'm pretty sure it's not me,
I was aiming at the bottom of a 6 inch circle, and all rounds hit the top.
30 rnds fired ,with gun rested on a bench and 30 rnds while standing.
All rnds were in the same area.
It may not be you, but I'd still get someone experienced to shoot it. I coach shooters at my range, and I've seen plenty of funny shooting. Only once was an issue attributed to the sights. Yours may have a wrong sight mounted at the factory, so compare it to another Shadow and see if something looks different. Good luck!
I'll clarify:I'll take some measurements Sunday, when I get home.
There's no other shadows at my range so comparing is out.
I'll post up a few pics tomorrow, 15 and 25 yards with 115 and 124 factory ammo.
I'll also include a target from my S&W 357, to show that I can shoot![]()
I'll see who I can find,to try that out.I'll clarify:
I've found some people have a very sensitive touch, that makes them shoot different pistols *very* differently. Even the snappy 115 grain bullet can induce shooting errors in people. So from my point of view, no need to post pics of targets. Get someone else to shoot your gun. Someone who is very experienced. If they are roughly on target, then it's all you.![]()
5.0 gr of TG sounds a bit hot! Are you sure about that load??
I was thinking the same thing
Went out yesterday with some 115 and 124.
124 not so good
At 10 yards the 115 are closer to POA/POI.
Back out to 25 yrds and they're shooting about 5 inches high.
Anyway I can live with that, for now.
