Hi Guys/Gals
I have a pre 64 mod 70 Winchester in .270. The S/N places its manufacture date at 1954. The rifle is in good shape overall it has been used but not abused scuffs and dents with a small gouge at the wrist on the left side. There is one issue with this rifle, the barrel has been stretched about 2 inches behind the muzzle. I discovered this when I was cleaning the bore and the clean rods pressure "went soft" when pushing it down the pipe. I can also feel ever so slightly the "waisting" of the barrel at the spot.
My question is what is this rifle worth in this condition?
I have included some pics of the rifle to give an idea of the condition. I am unable to get a nice photo of the inside of the barrel at the stretched spot.
Thanks for your time.
