I wish I could find some 22WMR that was priced appropriately. But no... Im going to take apart a 22wmr and a 22 LR and then weight everything so as to compare the actual costs of it all. Wanna guess which will be the "better deal" so to say?Double penetration with no lube.
I was looking to buy some CCI .22 ammo and believe it or not a brick (500rounds) is $80.99+tax. So 1,000 rounds of .22 is $161.98+tax. About 8-10 years ago it was 15-20 a brick.
its all a clever ploy called supply and demand... cut the supply and demand goes up.. charge what you want... since they are all greedy barstads you can imagine how this works out...
you cannot simply wait for them to lower the price and then buy it.. cuz they can out wait you. Any day of the week they can out wait you..... You cannot complain cuz they just dont care... and will stop making the stuff. This isnt just in found in the bullet and powder store.. its everywhere... since when is a loaf of bread worth 3-5 bucks?!? It should be the other way around really.. More people means more sales.... Right? Oh..! Wait!! MORE PEOPLE MEANS MORE SALES!!! MUuuuuWHAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Satans minions do us over on every plane... I just dont buy things anymore... not unless I really have too. and it bothers me that I cannot go out for a good session of recoil therapy without it costing me a small fortune...
How would you feel about 8 bucks a pound for black powder? I'll get out my time machine.... Price of admission to my time machine....97.00/Hr. ~sigh~
