Prices on EE for Non-Restricted

It make me laugh, some are going for the all in. Doesnt bug me if they do that, it's a free market.:slap:

Perfect.

Because that’s exactly the reaction the seller is hoping for, when the buy-back researchers come on here to see what ACRs are going for.

Really? You can't be serious. This place would be the last place they would bother looking. Someone will come up with a round number, say $1,000 and that will be it. Sell it back to the Gov't or not. I would sooner ignore the offer and sit back and wait for the knock on the door or the next election or a Judge ruling Trudeau has over reached his authority, whichever comes first.

Take Care

Man, these prices are insane and I have to seriously question their morality.

People charging $6500 for a Modern Sporter, and $2200 for FX-9s. I understand the polictical climate, but in a time where we need to be unified its like poeple on here are just trying to screw there fellow shooter.

It says right in the EE rules that is supposed to be a not for profit system, based on mutual respect. That clearly isnt happening.

After everybody has been effected by COVID-19 in someway negatively, after a heart breaking mass shooting in the Maritimes, being screwed by the government of our hunting rifles worth thousands, now I see the EE is filled with profiteers trying to screw each other over foaming at the mouth only because there rifle wasn't on the list. The Admin should take a list of everyone doing this and ban them for life.

It a little disgusted.

Chris

You can buy new at retail, nobody is forcing you to pay much more for used.

OMG… Lately it seems there are threads like this at least once a day.
People pissing and moaning about prices of used guns, prices of new guns, prices of 9 mm, prices of 223 rem, prices of 22lr....

Basic economics dictates that an adverse increase (shift) demand will increase prices because there is a limited supply.
Effectively, guys such as yourself who are scrambling to find a toy that is not on the sh#t list have driven up prices.

Its like complaining about traffic when you're stuck in traffic... the irony is that... you are that traffic.

Its not sellers' fault that you did not buy before the rush.

So don't complain about it.

There was folks on here selling TP and N95 masks during the initial hoarding of covid-19 as well. Don't be so suprised

Creating market value.
Then the liberals can pay us market value for our rifles.

Yeah! Market value... ‘Cause we all know the Govenment will take the CGN EE prices as a guideline as to what is the real "market value"...

i do think its ####ty that some choose to dump some of there guns at those prices 2 days after this anouncenent.

seas get rough for a second and abondon ship? or talk about truly opportunisitic capitalists? not my call to judge thou I know some are gonna be in a world of hurt soon with no paycheque showing up.

I agree. I find it pretty disgusting. But it’s the free market and they can do what they want.

Supply and demand. Same goes for gym equipment right now during the pandemic. stores are all sold out so the used market prices are jacked up. Used weights were 50cents - $1/lb. Now people are regularly asking $3/lb.

I have no issue about people asking what they want for a non-essential item. If you don't like the price you don't have to buy it.

price gouging at it finest

If you don't want to pay it, then don't.

I say that as someone who has no intention of selling despite the fact that I could probably do quite nicely.

Maybe price controls are the answer, they are normal in other communist regimes.
