was at the range shooting reloads , picking up my brass and couple of the brass already deprimed ?
load to hot? or bad primer pocket or ?? didnt think that was possible . cz-75 9mm 124gr

The quality of the brass and how the case is made governs the amount the case can stretch during firing. The most probable reason your primer fell out is because of a stretched over sized primer pocket. Some automatics have more of the rear of the case protruding from the barrel and thus allow the base of the case to stretch more because it is unsupported.

How many times was the brass casing reloaded? I suggest you check the rest of your lot of brass for excessively worn or out of spec' primer pockets.
Was the brand name Federal?
mixed brass could have picked up somebodys old stuff and reloaded it, i have reloaded mine 3 or 4 times

Range pick up brass, lets see I go to the range after loading my brass X amount of times and don't pick it up again for reloading.

You pick up my worn out brass and wonder why the primer fell out after you reload it.

I only pick up range brass if I know for certain it was only fired once.

Good advice, make friends with shooters who don't reload and have the same caliber firearms you do and pick up their brass.

Even better advice, buy new brass, and don't shoot with friends who reload and will steel your brass.

I've had reloads lose their primers on the way to the range! I give them all a light tap at an angle on the rim now. Primer loss can be a sign of overpressure and a good indicator that the brass is done. Sure you can peen the pocket back into shape enough to JUST hold a primer in, but you risk the ignition gasses leaking past the primer and torch-cutting your boltface. Cheaper to toss the worn case and start fresh.

i've only ever had this happen to aluminum cases that i reloaded for gits and shiggles. after about 2-3 reloads when i would seat the primer, there was zero resistance. i suspected something would happen. but they all came out during recoil, one primer actually jammed the slide.

they were not hot loads either, middle of the road.

What he said. Primers literally falling out is not normal and is generally indicative of primer pockets being expanded by grossly excessive pressure. If you have been loading anything near max recommended loads, take this as a cheap warning.
