Problems with fabarm martial 14"

Hey guys sorry to say I've got an issue!
Wanstalls has been nothing but good to me in the past!!
2 weeks ago I purchased a fabarm martial 14 from you guys.
I was sold the display/demo model which I was wary about! But like I said you've always been good to me so I kept my mouth shut.
When I got home I opened the case and went over the shotgun.
Superficial scratches due to being on display. I'm ok with that.
The protective foam in the case was torn in a couple spots I'm also ok with that!
But when I took her out on a test drive the very first shell James in the chamber after firing! This kept happening!
So I tried some high brass shot and slugs. The high brass ejected a bit better but not like it should for an 850$ Gun! I cleaned an inspected to no avail!
Had a couple of knowledgeable gun guys take a look and the consensus is that the chamber may be machined to tight or out of round? Either way not what I expected from a fabarm!
Where do we go from here?
Thanks
Neil

First off I'm not complaining?
Second I work for a living commute 2 hours a day not much phone time!
Third I sent them an email 2 days ago with no response
If anything in my post comes off as complaining I apologize!
LIKE I said twice in the op wanstalls has been nothing but good to me in the past!
Thanks for your helpful input though north60! Very helpful!!

I had a similar issue with fabarm when I first got it, I though it was the gun but that wasn't the case. What I've been told by some experts is when a gun is new it could have cycling issues. I took the gun home, cleant it and headed down the range again and no issues ever since... But you say u tried cleaning it as well, not sure what else the issue could be.

Like I posted already I've cleaned it a couple times now! Been out twice testing! And no change at all! Cleaned on range while testing aswell! There is most definitely somthing wrong when t takes 5 minutes to get a spent shell out!
The action everything locks up!

Hey Diesel,

Definately bring it buy and we'll take a look at it. Not much we can do unless we test it and get a good look at it unfortuntely. If we can get it functioning we will, if we have to send it off for warranty we will. Either way we'll get you up and running!

Hey! Thanks for the speedy reply!
Problem is it will cycle unfurled shells just fine!!!
It's only after firing when the issue shows up!
I disassembled it with a spent shell in the chamber and had to pull quite hard to get the shell out of the chamber!! Should I bring it I. With a spent shell in the chamber? Otherwise empty of cource! Haha

I have a Fabarm Martial- It has jammed once in 200 rounds. I fired a 3" magnum slug and the slide seemed jammed afterwards. I was able to pull the spent cartridge free with a great deal of force. I had just cleaned the gun with Hoppes bore cleaner and maybe it was a little dry. I lubed it with G96 and have not had a problem since.
I hope you get the problem resolved- I have heard Wanstalls is pretty good.

Gary is on it - nuff said.

To each his own - but I really think ya should of called them before posting.

Give the boys a chance dude ...

To be honest man, it's not Wanstalls fault you live 2 hours away and have a busy schedule. They are trying to help you, but you have to let them.
Ship it to them or find the time to take it in.

You did create a thread asking CGN "Where do we go from here?" so people are just trying to help. Hopefully this post didn't come off the wrong way.

Yes! I asked WANSTALLS where do we go from here? I didn't ask for all the cheeky coments! Wanstalls replied quickly and I thank them for that! I will be going down there on sat if any of you smart asses want to come down and advise me as to what I should do! :p
