I replaced the hammer and trigger with a Colt one and also replaced with a lighter spring kit. The trigger broke a consistent 7lbs and felt excellent.
Upon firing the gun at the range I was still getting the odd 2 and three round bursts.
I had fed 40rds through it and the handgaurd loosened off. I tightened the handgaurd and fired 140more rounds and never had 1 jam this time and the trigger felt great.
When I got home I took it apart to try and figure out the trigger issue.
I noticed that the disconnecter was not grabbing sometimes when dry firing.
I replaced the light springs with the factory NEA ones and after dry firing, it worked flawlessly. I think those springs were not compatible, but it seems good now.
I will have to try again next weekend and see if this works with live fire.
All in all I had fun with the gun and let others try it out.
Also the BCG bolts remained tight and staked so, so far so good.
