I thought I would share my two ###y IPSC production guns. My main gun a Tanfoglio Stock III and my backup CZ SP-01 Shadow. I wanted a backup Stock III but the CZ is close enough for now. :D I got it on a trade then added the grips so it was a lot better on the pocket book then buying another Stock III. Going to wait for the new Stock IIIs that include Eric's new hammer.

I guess the new stock 2 xtreme is coming out sometime in the late spring. Should be pretty sweet.

I won the StockIII at 2011 nat's. Never did get to shoot it as i wanted to sell it as new, but man did i want to. Really, really nice pistol. Comfortable and a top fit and finish.

those Spaghetti Shooters are far easier on the eyes compared to the shadow. prefer the smaller square trigger guard too

Yeah, besides the looks, the quality compared to the Shadow is just outstanding.

Can't wait to try the DA on those!!

They look heavy. LOL! :D

You already know I think them's er sum ###y shooters.

:D

Yep, I know I'm plastic cult fanboy, but the Tanfoglio's are damned nice looking guns.

I am really loving the X-Caliburs!!! ;)

I almost bought yours when you placed it on the EE. It went pretty fast!

loved the tanfoglio stock II i shot to review, amazingly well built gun and very very good looking. to bad about the trigger though

Yeah that's why I went for the Stock III. A little trigger work and it's nice. Now with Eric's new hammer coming soon the DA will be 6lbs without any work done so I am sure it can be tuned to a little over 5lbs DA.

I heard Eric was running a Stock II with a Stock III trigger. I guess now he probably has his hammer on his Stock II.

My Stock 3's about 6.75 double and 2.4 single, nothing close to the Shadow. I guess we're both getting the new hammer in finally :)

I'm not sure if the 10 percent heavier recoil rod would make any difference with my light IPSC loads, i'd like to hear a opinion on it.

The Eric grips are great though, can't wait to see what else gets put out there.

FYI guys;
The stock II and III all now have the same sear setup.
Seems it was enough of a success with the III that Tanfoglio thought it should be in both.

my DA is probably about 1lb heavier..as I still have some stacking near the end. I went with the old style sear. MY SA is about just over 2 lbs....neutral hammer movement before the let off. Reset is very, very short.

I assume with the new Hammer, I would be down sub 6lb DA, and sub 2lbs SA.

All this talk of Eric hammers, swapping sears, heavier guide rods......thought this was production division.

Just sayin.

Isn't production the gamiest division? lol. Hammers, rods, etc., I thought you were going to say it was ###ual?

In all honesty I have zero issues with my DA pull on my Stock III but just like all top athletes, and I mean all, take steroids and HGH, all production shooters like to juice up their guns. lmao

Maybe that's what is holding me back from IPSC greatness.
Gonna have to start popping Anadrol and see what happens!!!

Just kidding about the mods. everyone does it

When you are done productionizing your Tanfoglio, I'd like to shoot it to see how much further you still have to go to make it feel like my stock Shadow.........
:)
