They didn't work for me. Ended up replacing the progressives with 2 pairs, one for close and one for far, and went to red dots on my pistols.
Huuuuge difference with the red dot.
lol...or a better Doctor!
couldn't function very well when I first put them on. after two days they were a lot better. after a few weeks no problem.
Well I'll order a set and try them. I hear Costco has a month return policy, so if the progressives don't work you can get regular or bifocals and they will refund the difference in cost. Two days sounds great, the optometrist says some folk can take up to a couple of weeks.
Lasik doesn't work for everyone, and it certainly isn't a perfect solution as you age. It becomes more difficult to change your point of focus, so Lasik is simply changing the "default" focal length of your eyes. As you get older, you'll need glasses for other distances. Lasik cannot fix that.He went with King Lasik. Not sure if he had Dr King himself but the procedure didn't work for him.

I’m having a bit of issues with red dots. Slight astigmatism causes distortion depending on the glasses I’m wearing. I’m pushing 60 and was considering lasik but my enthusiasm for the procedure has waned. I found it ironic that some of the doctors and receptionists wore glasses at LASIK center. They probably know something we don’t. Anyway, glasses it is.
Afaik, and i could be wrong, but lasik can correct near or far sightedness but not both (bifocal wearers)....or instead of 20/20 near or far they can give you something in between and youd still need glasses. Ie, you cant use lazik to get rid of glasses if you need bifocals.
