On second thought, if you have already had all the work done, you may need to have a firearms verifier fill out some paperwork to confirm it now meets the R requirements and then you should be able to re-register it as R
Who did the work? They should be able to help you verify
They will usually ask for photos with a measuring device to confirm.
The last one I did, they weren't even worried about a verifier. They wanted to verify it themselves.
We had the pistol barrel changed to a restricted length. I'm a verifier and sent in the paperwork for it.
The problem is the gun comes up in the business inventory as "restricted" but when we tried to transfer it, the certificate itself in their system says "Prohibited" still. So someone forgot to click or change something in their registry. We were first told to just "wait" and we have but it still hasn't been fixed. So we are trying to find someone to call to have this issue fixed.
