this norinco is a project i do for a friend. after he put in the goodies to make it shoot nice, i was given the task of making it look nice.
file off the nasty serrations
matched that relief cut to the frame lines
uniformed the frame slide and beaver tail, tighten the slide to frame fitment and lots of filing to refine the slide and frame. file off all visible machine marks inside the serrations etc.
match the grip safety to the frame
sand blasted
cerakote burnt bronze frame and custom mixed the slide and controls. tapped the grip screw bushing to take standard thread grip screws
rounded off all sharp edges along all corners
rounded off all edges on the slide
this is another 1911 i fit and painted. didnt need much work being an STI. mainly fit the beaver tail to match the frame and some minor stuff.
