So I had some time, about an hour, to spare from studying and this is what I did to my Nork slide:

Also notice the nice french cut and the ejection port (wanted to do something different:runaway: )
Some more of what I've done yet far from complete:

I've also tightened the slide to frame and polished up the inside of the dust cover.
The bobbing of the grip safety is also far from complete. The internals are McCormick and all the pins are Ed Brown.
I have yet to install the Trijicon front sight and the LPA adjustable rear sight.
Some more mods to the slide and frame are to be done including making a bobbed main sping housing and thus chopping the frame as well.

Not much, but it's a start.
Saving up for an air brush (if anyone has a good one for sale please do let me know) and then Armacoat.
Any other suggestions?
What would you do?

Sounds like you are well set up to do major sculpting.:)

I'd go for a bobtail modification ala Ed Brown Kobra Carry:dancingbanana:

A non-reflective flat top would be a nice. But I guess it is hard to do...

Not at all, I'm just waiting to drop the sights in (when the dovetail cutters arrive) and then I'll serrate the top!

I just need time to make a main spring housing since 70-75USD for an Ed Brown MSH is expensive on a student budget.
