Here is a highlight of the are that needs to be beveled. if you look on the bottom of the receiver you will see that the oprod "flange" is angled and dips lower than the rest of the receiver. As M14Doctor says this step must be done prior to fitting the trigger pads to avoid too much material being removed.
Luckily for me I fitted the trigger group very tight so when I relieved the oprod flange are the trigger group was still reasonably tight.

, you can file this location untill it is flat with the area ahead of it for a nice even ledge..... or bevel it out and down to the outside of the stock, creating the same angle as the forward reciever bearing pads.
