Promag M1A/M305 Precision Stock PICTURE Review

Excuse a stupid question, but would the archangel fit the mini 14 target as well? Any feedback from someone who has done such a thing?

Definitely looks fun, wish we could use 20 round clips for those though.

Hey
Do you suggest anyone in Vancouver for M14's?

My Bad :)

bump on this. looking to see if i can get my hands on this stock still? just ordered my m305 online today! looking to spice her up already

I'm pumped should be just over a week until I get my archangel stock. I've got some new parts just sitting awaiting it. M14.ca CASM mount, Bushnell 10x40 Elite, Harris bipod adaptor with Harris swivel bipod and a little something custom I'm adding to the stock to make it resemble an actual JAE stock.

Actually I've been inspired and I'm almost ready to start spraying, just not sure if I'm going to spray the stock only or the entire assembly. On that note I recieved my stock yeaterday and put it together today. It was tight like unit should be but only required the slightest of filing to the trigger pads to get it to lock in. Should I still be worried about fitting the right side of the action? Looking at it, it appears to be level. I'll will post pics in the am

Way to go , it is a crap load of black close up tho. Like a blank canvas just waiting ...........
I had about 1/16 gap when I fitted mine and that disappeared when I grooved the right side, as in the tutorial pics. But if yours is flush I dont see any reason to file it.
At least you got it at last :)

Does this stock make the rifle lighter or heavier?

This question was already answered by me on page 4, but i'll write it down again for you! ;)

Promag Archangel M1A weight: 67.2 oz (4.2lbs)

Original USGI stocks weight:
Fiberglass stock USGI 11686428 46.2 oz (2.89lbs)
Fiberglass stock USGI 11686428 49.0 oz (3.06 lbs)
Fiberglass stock USGI 11686428 45.4 oz (2.84 lbs)
Walnut stock USGI 7790702 41.8 oz (2.61 lbs)
Walnut stock USGI 7790702 44.4 oz (2.78 lbs)

For your info: 1 pound = 16 ounces

So final answer, it's a little heavier but it's way more convenient...
