Prophet River's Handguns and future shipments

How long has it taken you guys to get a reference number from Prophet River? Ordered a Glock 48 a little over a week ago and still don't have one.

Did you log into your account on the PR site, or are just waiting for them to email you? Regardless, I'd say if they haven't gotten the transfer going yet, there likely some legit reason (or a bit of a paperwork mix up). Def check your account first, and then if there's nothing listed there, try directly calling the store. Since they put through 500+ g48s alone in the last month, I'm sure there may be a few hiccups. Doesn't sound like anyone is getting any sleep up there, and the current system of reg/transfer/wait has to be causing all sorts of headaches.
PR has been about 3 days on average ober the last bit for going from purchase to my account saying awaiting transfer approval.

Ask them for a ref#. I ordered a handgun on Aug.27 and send them an email today morning asking for a ref.#. Clayton responded in about 20 minutes with a ref# and serial number of my handgun.
A really great service PR!

I checked my account and the reference number was there, I then spent half an hour on hold with the CFO only to find out the transfer was already being reviewed, my call wasn't necessary. Very weird, I ordered a Ruger Wrangler from another business and I had to call in with the reference number for that.

Been holding out for a miracle PDP to show up. Ended up picking up a S&W MP 2.0 range kit as the stock was getting low. This is my 3rd and will probably be my last pistol I purchase. Unless a PDP randomly shows up, I'm done shopping lol. Thanks PR! First time gun owner and I'm pretty surprised all my guns were purchased here haha.

On a side note. When I check the status of my order, I see a 2 sets of numbers in the comments. One that starts with 205###xx and a 601###x. Can someone let me know what those numbers mean? Is 601###x the reference/transfer number?

Also what's the next step? Do I just sit and wait for RCMP to approve the transfer and the guns will be shipped out? I read on another forum that someone had to go on the RCMP website to fill out a form?

Yes, pretty much have to sit back and wait. If your info was entered correctly, AND you have your shooting range listed with PR, thats pretty much it. The retailer (especially PR, but pretty much all online retailers) knows what needs to be input, and would have reached out if anything was missing.
As for the wait, really depends on where you live. Nova Scotia has been absolutely dragging their asses, sometimes taking as long as three (3) whole days to approve a transfer. Not sure where alberta is right now, all my stuff in bc has cleared (up to early july), and in Ontario (and, apparently Quebec)... just be thankful that PR is storing your guns for free. Until Christmas at the earliest...
