I am in contact with a training school in the US for a "high stress competition" carbine course. I am aiming to run it in the last week of August. The course will most likely be 3 days and will take place in Ontario.

The total price is fixed for 15 people. A 3 day course will be about 700 dollars per person if there are 15 people enrolled. The course will need 1500 rounds of carbine ammunition.

It is a chicken and egg thing with this kind of course - venue, students and instructor schedule. I don't want to put out the details here because nothing is confirmed. If you are interested, please drop me a PM for more details.

I'd consider it, have to see where I am money wise and whether or not there are any training courses running this summer (reservist). If not, it would be pretty cool. Can we get an idea of what training school this is?

Unless everyone is LE or MIL there is no way thay DDTC will allow Kyle to teach -- his client base down here makes him a Defense Controlled item...

Provided no training courses are running this summer (i've heard none are courtesy of the current budget situation) then at least myself, and probably another one or maybe two guys from my unit would be up for it. Given the number of LE/mil in Ontario, I don't think we'd be unable to get the numbers needed.

That's f**king ridiculous... I'm not disputing it, but it's ridiculous

That will prevent the invasion of the US by well trained Canadian civilians? :D

I still have to shake my head at US restrictions.
