The only con that comes to mind is keep it clean ! Have the Windex handy to neutralize corrosive salts from "Cheap" surplus ammo.

Spoon for the stripper clips?
I was thinking something like a Hyperfire trigger upgrade may help in getting hard primer strikes for the surplus x39 ammo:
Hammer Fall Energy: HIPERTOUCH® features the unique toggle spring functionality that reduces trigger weight, but while doing so, it also increases hammer fall energy by over 35% over the MIL-spec stock design and every trigger upgrade in the market. This permits the shooter to ignite hard MIL and foreign primers as well as hard to ignite 22 rimfire ammunition.
So those who have run something in x39....can you state make, barrel length, number of rounds, type of ammo if possible, and any issues or likes/dislikes. Thanks guys.
Built my own, tnw barrel and it shoots awesome with norinco non-corrosive.
I had light strikes with surplus, a dedicated build should come with a longer firing pin though
Retrofitted 5.56 bolt is likely where it will fail one day
