We have to get over this whole concept of revisiting history. Yes, North America was home to the natives before the white man came. But he did, and they were conquered by alliance or by war. Quebec was French for a long time, until they were conquered by the English. Stop handing sh*t back to them with grovelling and "sorry". If the real world worked like that, conceivably I could go back to Scotland and seize back my ancestor's land.
This land does NOT belong to the current generation of natives. They were born into the same time period as us. The "give us our land back" boat sailed 300 years ago. They should either dissolve the Reservation system (which was a terrible injustice), and move forward with their future, or set up border crossings, and insist on visit Visas if they want to step off their "Nation". This "sh*t or get off the pot" state of indecision is what is keeping a very fine people from living up to their potential, and until it's resolved, generation after generation will be wasted playing this redonkulous game. They aren't going to succeed in life if they're getting endless handouts - let's stop mourning their past, and instead get them moving toward the future. I'd dearly hate to know that my great, great, grandkids will still be trying to resolve this Caledonia BS, and figuring out how to stop blacked-out speedboats.

I highly doubt many people on here voted for the Provincial Lieberals. I know I sure didn't .
