Thus far in my firearms ownership I've yet to own a scoped centerfire rifle. I've kicked around putting a scope on my A.G. Parker longbranch match rifle since I got it simply cause I wanted to see what the old girl could do at distances greater then 300 yards. I had a Ph5c on it which looked the part but the idea of a scope just wouldn't go away.
Then while having coffee and chewing the fat at Smellie and twosteam's place I ended up leaving with a very nice S&K scope mount in my possession. It's rock solid and doesn't alter the gun in any way. It takes about 5 mins to go from iron sights to a full scope setup.
I put a Scorpion optics 4-12x40 AO copperhead scope on it and thus far it seems very clear with good light transmission. The only other scope I have is a 3-9x30 marksmen which has served me well on my .22 varmint rig that is used around our property in all weather.
Anyhow here's some pics, just thought I'd post them to give others an idea if they are wanting a no drill and tap mount for a Lee Enfield.
On another note, does anybody have or know where I could find an XL or XXL buttstock for this old girl? I would like a spare buttstock in the same length as the one on the rifle so I can experiment with cheek risers without worrying about damage to the buttstock.
