Putting my Rem700 on a diet

It’s ok I’m guilty of hunting from a truck too. Heck, one time I even shot my work truck with a 270. Good thing it wasn’t a 7mm or I’d have had to walk home.

I almost shot a work truck last summer with one of those silly little over unders shooting it like a pistol at a water bottle on a well site when I doubled it and it took off sideways. Having also destroyed an Argo and flipped a side by side that summer I was pretty concerned for a minute there but I had no holes in my body or the vehicle

Didn’t Remington make a XP 7-08 with a 15 inch factory barrel?
The barrel is where you could save the most.

Shorter barrel
Pencil barrel
CFW barrel

7BR. Then we rechambered them to 7 IHMSA or 7 -08 REM Back in the day . RJ
