Quad Rail CQB M4'ish Project Rifle - "TROY" BUIS added

I used a Dremel with a cutting wheel, sanding block and 60grit paper.

It's all about taking your time, removing some material, fitting and seeing how much more you need to take off. Very straightforward and the material used in the stock is easy to sand.

Based on the amount of Krinker kits sold, you are probably in the minority.

I think if the 70's proved anything it was that good taste is not a democratic institution.

The proliferation of country living decor and dolphin paraphernalia are modern testaments to this mistaken attitude.

Krinker kit looks neat. Very compact and light. the sights it comes with are good. and If you can get it in the states its $100 cheaper. i have two buddies that have the kits. They bought there here in Canada and said it was worth the price. I DO like where Jerry is going with this build. It depends on what you want. Nice work Mystic!

Thanks FS. The rifle is finished except for bedding. The barrel install is exactly as ordered and gives the look I wanted.

Enjoy...

It looks pretty awkward with the rail covers on. It looks like it's out of a transformers movie or something.

It looks kickass with the covers off though. How comfortable is it to hold without a grip, on the rail covers? I might have to get a grip just to get the cool factor of the rails... :(

Do they make nerf grenade launchers?

What's wrong with a sci-fi look?

ilp, holding onto the rails without covers is not very comfy. You can get other covers. Just look at what is available for the AR. Same spacing so any of the plastic covers will work. I like the vertical fore grip.

Did get a chance to shoot it today and it handled very nicely. Still as accurate as before but I will bed it just because. Fast and fun.

KDX, thanks. PM on your way.

Got to do some serious ammo expenditure today. Love it. Out to 200yds, still pretty accurate. Hold over is quite alot.

Short range, it is a hoot. Ramline 50rd mag got a work out today.

WAY more fun then any 10rds mag.

Just finished bedding and free floating. Will post pics once it has cured for a day or two.

Got some BUIS sights coming to add to the look. Will also consider some lights/lasers and other bling.

Fun, fun, fun...
