quality of of marstars 1919a4

Sorry, Norinco does NOT make 1919's or I would be selling them for 599$ or something like that. Too bad!

I am going to let the Norinco comment go because it would be a waste of time for me to try and sell you one of these. You are obviously set in your ways (your loss).

Anyway I am glad that you guys in this forum have had really good things to say about TNW. From my point of veiw they were hard to deal with but in the end it seems to have worked out awesome.

Frank and I both own TNW 1919A4s. They can make a bad day much much better! Frank sold his to pay for a new gto project(67). Just before he sold it he got it running in 8mm swedish that was fun and cheap. I left it in 30-06 and I love it. Like every one else it took a bit of time to work out the bugs but now it shoots great (my opinion is that there is no fun in buying something that if you don't have to play with it).

At the moment we only have 1919A4s in 30-06 in stock. We are out of all the accessories so call frank or me and we will make a deal.

And to all you 1919A4 owners: keep havin' fun!

I don't own any norincos but I sure see the value in being able to pic up a fun firearm for such a good price, especially when it comes from a reputable company which stands by it's products and service.
A CANADIAN importer is going to the trouble of bringing in reliable, safe, interesting firearms at a price point that keeps the ranges and ammo sales busy! Thanks guys.

Hello Maple leaf

The 1919's are made with a mix of parts , most are american parts kits , the 308 for instance does have an Israeli barrel . But most of the guns you can still see the us bomb marking several places Big hit with the collectors.
Also the mg 34 has alot of the german markings visable.

Good day David Doyle
The interesting thing about norinco is that for beginners they are a cheap way for them to be interduced to the sport, And for the expirienced shooter they are a grate and cheap way to learn the basics of gunsmithing ie. trigger jobs, checkering ,sight insatations ect. For a shooter to buy a 1911 at 325$
and install some nice grips and learn how to make smooth triggers and try there hand a checkering ,I think that 325$ is a pretty cheap teaching aid.

Does anyone have one of the M2's from Marstar? I've never seen one around.

PS. Lets just move along and forget about this
You only get one chance to make a first impression.

Enjoy your stay and I sudgest you read up and learn a thing or two.

As far as I know we only entered 12 into the country and I have to admit
they were perfect never had a problem with one . One of my customers from our local gun club bought one, and ever time I see him at the club he tells me only good things about it.

Where does he get his ammo? That must be a helluva gun budget of his.

You wouldn't believe me if I told you how big his budget is for guns! In one purchase he took home a 1919 in 30-06 a 1919 in 308 and a 50cal. He is a strange fellow lives alone ,drives a noen ,and eats mr Noodles to save money for guns. Oh yeah Frank told me that his budget last year for mags alone was 10 grand.
Anyway back to work Bye.

Are there any plans to bring in more? :D

According to the Ottawa Citizen's online CFC assisted database, there are only two of the TNW M-2s in the country. Maybe the other 10 went south when the price of these skyrocketed down there?

Eric-one: Any chance of you guys getting some 8mm 1919 barrels in? You would likely sell a lot more of that 8mm swede, and maybe sell a few more guns as well.

I have a TNW 1919 in .308 with all the accessories (tripod, bipod, belt, metal links, etc.) that is relatively cheap to shoot and is now all sorted out and working great. PM me if interested. I will be likely be putting it in the EE soon with a bunch of other stuff, but thought I'd let you know here since you already have a thread started...

I have one of the 1919's and it's a lot of fun to shoot.Works great and has had on problems. The day I picked it up there was a M2 there as well, would have got that one but someone had loot down on it.Good thing as I can run a 1000 rounds off on a trip to the range and it's $300 or so,The M2 would run you around $5000.to feed for the day.

Sorry if I downed Marstar i was talking about Norinco`s.

What is your experience with Norinco products? On what do you base your comment? Have you handled any of them? Have you fired any of there products? Have you fired any firearm?

I personnally own many norinco products, in my safe, they are placed just beside bigger names like Colt, Sig sauer and many more. And guess what, they are as reliable as the others. They are a great value. If Norinco was producing crapp, i dont think that Marstar would sell an entire M-305 shipment within 48 hours, but it is the approx time it take these days...

Gunsmith uses the 1911 version to build IPSC. guns, with the same end result. Marstar, with the Norinco line, permitted thousand of new shooters to own there first firearm at an affordable price.

Please, if you dont know what you are talking about, ask questions instead of talking thru your hat.

No-1 PAPERPUNCHER;
Please do some researc, do not compare the Norinco products sold by Marstar with those sold by others....

Marstar has an established QC criteria at the factory.... Marstar offers an "ironclad warraty" read it, do you really think we could do that if the product line was junk ?

Like the man said "ask questions"

Good Lord, how many packages of Mr. Noodles does one have to eat in order to save up enough for a 1919 in 30-06 a 1919 in 308 and a 50cal plus the ammo?

Well,
I'm sorry if i "offended" anyone...but i've seen a few Norinco products and their not real great just out of the box. Maybe my standards are just too high. but its my point of view and I intend to defend it. sorry for me "bursting" onto the forums like this...

I have a few examples of what I've seen and I dont like. the M-14 that marstar distributes from Norinco have chipped stocks and the wood finish is poor...also on a few pistols I'm not real crazy about them either.

NOW one thing I wouldnt know about is the quality of their semi-auto MG replica's.

how are they accurate at 100yards?

anything thats not in a 3-4 inch isnt good for me...

If only you knew how much this post says about you on several levels. But of course you don't  and that is the point ...
