Yes... we've been working on barrels for some time and had planned to offer non-restricted version of the rifle. At this point those plans are shelved (the complete non-restricted rifle) because of the export permit situation... but the 18.6" non-restricted barrel is still a reality.

We should have a quantity of them available in about 45 to 60 days... they'll be available to anyone who buys one of the SCAR's so they can change barrel and re-register the gun as non-restricted.

I don't have details on the barrels at this time... or pricing. That info will be posted on the website in a month or two.

I can speak from personal knowledge that the above is true. It's unfortunate (or maybe fortunate...) that it isn't black and white with a specific list as to what gets approved on a given day.

But there are a lot of factors that determine what permits get approved and which ones don't.
 
curious as to what the new restrictions would be if they where to allow import again? how would it change the rifle, different parts or features?
 
No one knows.

'New' restrictions could be the same as old, or entirely different, or there could be none compared to the current trends.

It's worse than trying to predict the weather.

Nope... they sold.

The LMT stuff has been selling daily... items like those LE packages don't last long.

Update... the fellow who ordered the LMT-LE-PKG-2 changed his mind so that package is back up for sale on the website.
